Main Ingredients

  • 125 grams pastrami (approx.)
  • 1 Kaiser roll
  • 2 tablespoons schmaltz
  • 1 fresh jalapeno
  • 1/4 white onion
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 60 grams Gruyer cheese (optional)

Spice Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to

  1. Slice Gruyere into thin slices.
  2. Toast roll with 1 tablespoon schmaltz.
  3. Chop onion, jalapeno and fry with schmaltz and horseradish.
  4. Add sliced pastrami to fried mix and heat through.
  5. Place Pastrami and fried mix on Kaiser roll, top with half of spices, then top with cheese, then top cheese with other half of spices.
